Summer productions are off to a steady start at Maples Repertory Theatre in Macon.
Actors from various states are making themselves at home in the heartland.
Saturday they performed: ??The Boys Next Door," which is a comedy about four mentally challenged men living in a group home with their social worker.
Artistic Director, Todd Davison, says it's a must-see show.
??So it's very funny, but also very poignant and you really get to learn about the guys and the challenges that they have to face in their lives and what we learn by seeing a play like this is how similar we are to other people that we might think are different than us. We learn how we have so much in common,?? said Davison.
Tickets for ??The Boys Next Door" are $27.
The show will be in theatres through August 1st.
