The Kirksville Leadership Institute has a recruitment luncheon
The Kirksville Chamber of Commerce is searching for a class for its 2014 Leadership Institute program.
The Kirksville Leadership Institute program is geared toward community development and leadership. KLI is comprised of full-day seminars in which each class member must participate for graduation purposes. Class members are also expected to conduct a class project that addresses a community need. In previous years, the â??Welcome to Kirksvilleâ?? signs were built for the north and south edges of town.
If interested in developing leadership skills and community service, applications for enrollment are currently being accepted.
â??We have an application form at the Chamber of Commerce. They can call (660)-665-3766, we can help someone get signed up. We only take a class between the size of 12 and 16 each year, so that's not too big and if anyone is interested, we'd encourage you to think about signing up fairly soon,â?? said KLI Executive Director Sandra Williams.
The first seminar is scheduled for February 7th. All applications should be completed and submitted before that day.
