A historic icon made a special visit to Kirksville Saturday.
Lisa Marks of the Hannibal History Museum presented at the Adair County Library.
She portrayed the famous "Unsinkable Molly Brown" who was originally from northeast Missouri.
Brown was born and spent her childhood growing up in hannibal during the late 1800's.
Brown was of course famous for her heroic efforts in the wake of the tragic Titanic sinking.
Marks has written a book about Brown's true rags-to-riches life.
The presentation was apart of the the library's 25th anniversary celebration.
