Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Kirksville.
The collision happened just after 1 p.m. at the intersection of Baltimore, Green and Rosewood Drive.
Kirksville police say a vehicle driven by Cory Conyers, 23, of Kirksville was southbound, when he sped up to try to make the light.
When he did, he struck a car driven by Nancy Chamberlain, 54, of Kirksville, which had begun to pull into the intersection after receiving a green light.
After striking Chamberlain's car, Conyers?? vehicle then hit a pick-up truck that was stopped at the light.
The driver of the pick-up was Lewis Parry, 73, also of Kirksville.
Chamberlain and Parry were transported to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
