Three Centerville men sit in the Appanoose County Jail, facing felony meth charges.
Steven Edward Stickler Jr. 21, Kevin Lee Conn, 22, Jacoby Delmer Ballanger, 18, all of Centerville were arrested by Centerville police on November 1.
Centerville police say officers were doing a routine business check at Smith Fertilizer and Grain on South 24th Street on Tuesday night.
Officers noticed an individual running from the establishment's anhydrous ammonia tank. Further investigation revealed a tank had been tampered with and was leaking.
The suspects were later located in the area, and questioned in regard to the theft. As a result, it was determined the three men had entered into a common scheme to manufacture meth.
All three remain in jail on $50,000 bond.
