Three Moberly residents are behind bars following the report of a weekend armed robbery.
The victim told police he was walking in the area of Emerson and Myra Streets in Moberly when a vehicle passed him. He reported that the occupants of the vehicle got out, approached him and one of them pointed a weapon at him and demanded money. The one holding the weapon grabbed his money and then told him to get on the ground.
While the victim was on the ground, a passerby observed the incident.
The suspects grabbed the victimâ??s cell phone and left the area. The witness observed the suspects running and saw a vehicle parked on a side street with its parking lights on. The witness got the license number and the police were contacted.
Following an investigation, Jordon M. Deskin, 18, Austin R. Crose, 19, and Joshua A. Butcher, 20, were arrested and have all been charged with accessory to robbery and armed criminal action.
They are being held in the Randolph County Justice Center under $100,000 bond each.
