Tooth Text: Text Messages for a Brighter Smile

Tooth Text is a mobile information service that provides timely oral health information targeting pregnant women, infants and children. The text message addresses topics such as regular dental visits, how to prevent decay, ad well as healthy habits. The messages follow current guidelines of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Through the Tooth Text Program, the Oral Health Alliance hopes to bring awareness to the importance of oral health and the effects it can have on oneâ??s overall health. Dr. Tedi Fladhammer, Doctor of Dental Medicine at Northeast Dental, stopped by the set of Good Morning Heartland to tell us more about Tooth Text. WATCH VIDEO ABOVE to learn more.
