Southeast Iowa Inter-Agency Drug Task Force investigators announced four more arrests Thursday related to the July seizure of 33 pounds of meth.
That brought to eight the number of people arrested as a result of the seizure.
As the latest suspects start their journey through the court system, the original four defendants are getting ready to end theirs.
Ottumwans Michael McManus, 35, Terry Lee Young, 58, and Juan Huerta, 25, were arrested in July along with Brian Lee Carmer of Newtown.
All four were charged in federal court with a charge of conspiracy to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine.
McManus and Young have both pleaded not guilty and have trial dates scheduled for September 3 at the Federal Courthouse in Des Moines.
Huerta has also pleaded guilty and his case is expected to go to trial on October 28.
All three men remain in federal custody facing a minimum sentence of 10 years if convicted.
