Truck goes up in flames in front of fire station

It was a rare case of a fire coming to firefighters in Novinger on Thursday.

A truck caught fire right outside the Novinger fire station around 3:45 p.m.

The truck was driven by an exterminator on his way home, who pulled in to the fire station when the truck started to overheat.

Fire chief Barry Mitchell says it took his crew about five minutes to put out the fully engulfed truck.

No one was injured during the incident, and the cause has not been determined.
