Truman State professor writes mystery novel
A local university professor's new book will make a great stocking stuffer for mystery lovers.
"The Monsignor's Wife", a new book published by Truman State English professor, Joe Benevento, is now in stores. The book is set in Benevento's old neighborhood of Queens, New York.
The main character finds himself in the center of a mystery investigation when his longtime love turns up murdered.
Due to great reviews, the sequel 'Saving St. Teresa' is already planned.
"It seems like people are enjoying it as a mystery. I think it holds together as a mystery, which I'm pretty happy about," said author Joe Benevento.
"The Monsignor's Wife" is available at the Truman State Bookstore, Hastings, Barnes and Noble and on Amazon.
