Truman State University students hold vigil for Michael Brown
Truman State University students joined the community of Ferguson Monday to mourn the loss of Michael Brown.
The funeral for Brown was held Monday afternoon. Amnesty International students at the University held a vigil to honor Brown Monday evening.
Those students participated in a silent, candle-lit walk across campus.
Students involved say they walked to bring awareness for people suffering from human rights abuses across the world.
The students also created a banner to help raise awareness. Truman State University students handprints cover a 'Hands up, don't shoot' banner.
