Truman students are 'picture perfect'

Truman students spent the afternoon getting headshots taken to spruce up their resumes.

A university photographer was on hand as part of Truman's Career Week. Students donned professional attire for the photographs. The students are encouraged to submit the headshot with their resume. Resumes were also critiqued in order to help the students have the best product when applying for a job. The photos can also be used for professional networking sites such as Linked-In.

"We really encourage students to use Linked-In for professional networking and a professional photo is very important for that," said Polly Matteson, of the Truman State Career Center.

Truman States Career Week continues tomorrow. Students will be interviewing for jobs and potential internships.
