Curious students discovered the many resources and groups available at one local university.
The Department of Student Involvement at Truman State University held the Activities Fair Wednesday.
The Activities Fair is an excellent way for both new and returning students to find ways to get involved within the 200 to 250 organizations on campus. It also provides an opportunity for student organizations to share information with the campus community.
"Students are usually involved in at least two organizations themselves and this is a great for them the learn what we have available," said Program Advisor for Student Involvement Shelby Sims.
The event is held at the beginning of each semester in the Student Union Building.
Organizations are sorted by category within the building making it easy for students to learn about both the organizations and the local community all in one place.
