Truman's Society of Dance Arts hosted their semester showcase Friday night at the Baldwin Auditorium. This fall's recital features 22 student choreographed pieces, all of which are various genres. Dancers rehearse seven nights a week until show time, but they can agree that show days are the most rewarding time of the year.
"It's amazing, I've danced since I was a little girl and performing and being on stage is one of my favorite things. It's what I look forward to all semester and all year. There's no other feeling than being on that stage. It really isn't,?? said performer Meghan Meyers.
Tomorrow night's show will be free of charge and open to the public. The doors of Truman??s Baldwin Auditorium will open at 6:30 p.m. Seating will be on a first available basis.
