Cable ONE has announced the removal of Turner Network channels from its line-up following the expiration of the Cable ONE/Turner Network contract.
Originally the only channels set to expire were CNN, CNN en Espanol, Headline News, Turner Classic Movies, TruTV and Boomerang.
Turner Network has also deauthorized signals to TNT, TBS, and the Cartoon Network, despite the fact that Cable ONE has a valid contract to continue the carriage of these channels.
??Turner has chosen to punish our customers by deauthorizing the signals for these channels so that they will no longer receive them,?? said Trish Niemann, Cable ONE Public Relations Manager. ??We believe that they have deauthorized these channels in retaliation for us dropping their less popular programming.??
Cable ONE has announced that they will be crediting customers. Customers do not need to call in to receive their credit, it will automatically be applied to their next billing statement.
