Two vehicles driven by people who aren't supposed to be driving collided in kirksville Friday afternoon.
The crash happened just after 3 p.m. at the intersection of Cottage Grove Avenue and Harrison Street.
Kirksville Police told KTVO Jerry Ault, 62, of Kirksville, the driver of the small pickup truck involved, told them he didn't see the stop sign at Cottage Grove.
Ault ran the stop sign and slammed into the right rear corner of a car driven by Theresa Gainer, 31, of Ottumwa.
Gainer was taken by ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment of what appeared to be minor injuries.
Police officers at the scene said her main complaint was back pain.
Gainer's daughter rode along in the ambulance with her mom.
Officers say the girl complained of a hand injury.
Ault was not hurt in the crash.
Both drivers were cited for driving with a suspended license.
Ault was also issued a citation for failure to yield at a stop sign.
