Two of Kirksvilleâ??s historical buildings may be voted into the national register of historic places
The Missouri Advisory Council on historic preservation held its quarterly meeting Friday.
On the agenda was a list of nominations for the National Register of Historic Places.
There were approximately 55 historical sites across Missouri nominated, among them were the Sojourners Club on South Elson St. and Dr. George and Dr. Blanche's house on South Halliburton, also known at the university residence at Truman State.
In addition to the nominations, the council discussed status reports on programs provided by the preservation office, as well as business related to their own functions.
