Two Ottumwa residents are facing multiple drug charges

Thu, 08 May 2014 18:38:03 GMT — Two Ottumwa residents are behind bars facing multiple drug charges following a pair of executed search warrants on Thursday.Officers with the Wapello County Sheriffâ??s Department, Ottumwa Police Department Emergency Response Team, United States Drug Enforcement Administration, Iowa Department of Public Safety Division of Narcotics Enforcement and the Southeast Iowa Inter-Agency Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on East Finley Avenue in Ottumwa.As a result of the search of the residence, officers seized items consistent with the distribution of controlled substances and a firearm. Vincent Scott, 54, was arrested and charged with (4) counts of Delivery of Less Than 5 grams of Methamphetamine, all Class C felonies. Scott was also charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver More Than 5 grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B felony. The second search warrant was executed at a residence on Miller Chapel Road in Ottumwa.As a result of the search of that residence, officers seized items consistent with the distribution of controlled substances, cash, and a firearm. Kathleen McKeehan, 52, was arrested and charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver More Than 5 grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B felony, Possession with the Intent to Deliver Marijuana and Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, both Class D felonies.
