Undercover narcotics investigation nets five arrests

Five individuals are now in police custody after selling illegal drugs to an undercover officer.
The Unionville Police Department reports the undercover narcotic investigation came to an end around 6:00 Wednesday evening following a search of a residence in the 200 block of South 15th Street in Unionville.
During the search, officers confiscated narcotics and money and arrested Rudolph Thompson. Later Cynthia Bredeson was arrested at the same location.
Now Thompson and Bredeson are each charged with distribution of a controlled substance within 2000 feet of a school.
After the initial search, officers moved on to the Golden Valley Apartment Complex where they arrested Stephanie Loomis, Howard Ramsey and Michelle Uhlenhopp.
Loomis is charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance near public housing or governmental assisted housing, while Ramsey and Uhlenhopp are each charged with one count of distribution of a controlled substance near public housing or governmental assisted housing.
All suspects are currently being held at the Davies DeKalb Regional Jail.
