      Unionville drug bust lands three in jail

      A two-month long investigation leads to three people being arrested and put behind bars.

      According to Unionville Police Chief Tim Corwin, officers served a search warrant at a residence in the 1700 block of Monroe street in Unionville.

      While at the residence, officers seized methamphetamine, numerous prescription pills, syringes and narcotic paraphernalia. Also at the residence, officers discovered a firearm with the serial number defaced.

      Three people were charged including Mark McCree, 21, of Mascoutah, Illinois, Adam McCree, 26, of Unionville, and Alisha McCree, 23, of Unionville. Mark was charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and three felony counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Adam was charged with one count of felony possession of a controlled substance and three felony counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Alisha was charged with one count of felony possession of a controlled substance and three felony counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

      Both Mark and Adam McCree remain in the Putnam County Jail. Mark McCree is being held on a $25,000 cash only bond, while Adam McCree is being held on a $20,000 cash only bond.

      Alisha McCree is being held in the Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail on a $20,000 cash only bond.
