United Way of Adair County is halfway there
The United Way is an integrated fundraising effort created to provide funds upon request from community agencies. Their 2014 campaign titled "Reunited with United Way" has set a $250,000 goal for funds which will be dispensed. With about 60% of their expected funds for the upcoming year, the Campaign Chair would like the community to take extra initiative to bring in funds this holiday season.
â??I'd just like to express my appreciation to this community. United Way has great partnership with the entire community and we know if we really work together with pledges small and large, we will be able to meet this goal and we will meet the obligation that we have to the agencies in this community who give back so much to all of us,â?? says Campaign Chair Rebecca McClanahan.
The final day of the 2014 campaign is Tuesday, December 31st.
