Unpredictable weather sends locals back for supplies

We've had one of the strangest starts to spring. Snowfall hit southeast Iowa and as of Sunday afternoon, it was still coming down. Most people put the salt and shovels away for the season, but some had to head down to O'Hara's Hardware Store to pick up more supplies. We caught up with salesperson Kelly Smith who let us know the store is prepared for the unpredictable weather, as well as what is best to keep around the house just in case.
"We're ready for your winter needs. we still have snow blowers, ice melt, shovels, sleds, hats and gloves, and anything you need for your automotive use. ice melt a shovel, a brush for your car is very important. windshield washer, de-icer, lock de-icer, it's always good to have your scraper or brush and of course a shovel and a snow blower," Smith said.
You never know what kind of weather will hit next, so make sure you're prepared for everything.
