UPDATED:Kirksville crash injures man

A crash late Friday left one man injured. It happened on Highway 63 on the north edge of Kirksville. A witness says the injured man was traveling north at approximately 11:30 p.m. He had pulled to the shoulder to yield to emergency vehicles when a pickup crashed into the side of his van. The van was pushed about 25 yards from the point of impact. The crash disabled the pickup which came to a stop north of the van.Reports from the scene indicate the driver of the pickup had been sought by police after a hit and run crash in the parking lot of an establishment on Kirksville's east side. Following that crash, the pickup was also reportedly seen traveling in the wrong lane of traffic northbound on Baltimore St.The driver of the van was taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

The driver of the pickup, Bradley Turner, 21, of Queen City, has been charged with resisting arrest, second degree assault, and driving while intoxicated. He's being held in the Adair County Jail on $25,000 cash only bond.
