WTU is a national non profit organization. Its purpose is to raise funds in support of education, habitat conservation and the preservation of hunting tradition for the benefit of white-tailed deer and other wildlife.

This fundraising event will take place at the NEMO Fair Grounds and will include a dinner, auction and prizes with a wide array of products such as firearms, outfitter packages, hunting and outdoor related equipment, artwork, and collectibles only available at WTU events.

50 percent of the funds stay here in the community. In the past the local chapter has supported FFA and 4H shooting teams, sponsored children at Christmas, been the sole supporter of the crafts for kids program the library has at Christmas, taken kids on youth hunts, and more.
