KTVO has learned Amy Romero has waived extradition and will be transported back to Minnesota later this week to face charges.
Local law enforcement have arrested a woman wanted for murder charges out of Minnesota.
Sullivan County Sheriff Roger Smiley said Amy Romero, 29, of Milan, was found at a residence in Milan, Friday evening, and taken into custody. She was arrested on a warrant out of Sibley County Minnesota. She has been charged with seven felonies, including premeditated murder in the first degree. She remains in custody at the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff Smiley said she'll be extradited to Minnesota the week of Jan. 23.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Milan Police Department assisted in the arrest.
