Young adults invited to summer fitness program at the Kirksville Aquatic Center

Young people ages 13 to 20 are encouraged to sign up for water aerobics.

The Kirksville Parks and Recreation Department is preparing for a teen fitness course taking place later this month.

Young people ages 13 to 20 are encouraged to sign up for water aerobics.

The opportunity to pre-register for courses will begin Monday.

The first block of courses will be held from June 16th thru July 11th, and the second block will be from July 14th thru August 8th.

??Starting this summer, we're going to offer our first ever teen fitness water aerobics class. Sometimes it's not cool to exercise with your mom, so we're giving them a chance to enjoy water aerobics and let them see that water aerobics is the best exercise you can do for yourself. You don't get hot or sweaty. It doesn't hurt and it's a lot of fun splashing around in the pool too,?? says Robin Harden, Recreation Specialist.

To sign up for the course, visit http://www.kirksvillecity.com/ or visit the Kirksville Aquatic Center.
