CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Harris Teeter says a brand of cookies sold in its stores has been recalled because the treats contain nuts not listed among the ingredients on the packaging.

In a Dec. 22 news release, Harris Teeter announced Mom's Best Gourmet Foods is voluntarily recalling HT Traders Mama Biscotti Mini Biscotti Triple Chocolate cookies.

The cookies reportedly contain undeclared almonds and hazelnuts, according to Harris Teeter.

The UPC code on the cookie packaging is 7203670827.

Harris Teeter officials say they have removed the products from store shelves, and are asking hazelnut and almond allergy sufferers who purchased the cookies to return them to Harris Teeter for a full refund.
