Marilyn and Loye lived in the Quad Cities briefly after their marriage, but soon returned to Unionville and lived there until Loye was drafted into the Army. They lived in Silver Springs, MD, while Loye was in the service, but returned to Unionville after his discharge. Marilyn worked at the Flowing Wells School District in Tucson until retiring in 1999.
Marilyn enjoyed crafts, especially decorating projects that Loye created. She loved to sew things for her family. Marilyn was a fun and lively person with a big smile and contagious laugh. She enjoyed being a member of the 20 Odd Extension Club in Unionville. She was active in PTA and served as a sponsor for God Squad at the First Christian Church in Unionville. Marilyn and Loye were active members of Mt. View Christian Church in Tucson hosting Bible studies in their home. She liked to attend estate sales and shop for antiques (especially chairs!).
