Ed Podolak to speak at IHCC Celebrity Night

Tickets are now available for the 31st Annual Indian Hills Community College Celebrity Night on Tuesday, April 10.

Ed Podolak, who has been providing color commentary on Iowa Hawkeye radio broadcasts for the past three decades, will be the guest speaker.

Podolak was a standout quarterback and halfback at the University of Iowa and later had a nine-year career in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs.

He is their second all-time leading rusher and a member of the Chiefs' Hall of Fame.

Celebrity Night will be held in the Dining Room on the IHCC Ottumwa campus.

A reception offering a chance to meet Podolak will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a prime rib and seafood dinner at 6:30 p.m., followed by remarks from Podolak.

There will also be an auction featuring donated items from area artists and autographed Iowa Hawkeye items as well.

Proceeds from the event are used to fund scholarships for Indian Hills' students.
