Mizzou Football sophomore offensive lineman Evan Boehm (Lee's Summit, Mo.) has been selected to the Fall Watch List for the 2013 Rimington Trophy, the award's committee announced Tuesday.
The Rimington Trophy is presented annually to the most outstanding center in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).
Boehm is one just five true sophomores on the list that includes 44 players from across the nation.
He is joined by Alabama redshirt sophomore Ryan Kelly as the only two watch list selections who did not start a game at center in 2012.
Boehm earned Freshman All-America honors from College Football News and Fox Sports after an outstanding initial season on the Mizzou offensive line, in which he started 12 games at left guard.
Entering 2013, Boehm made the transition to the middle of the offensive line to stabilize the important center position and will receive his first action at the position this season..
