Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk will be a counselor at the Manning Passing Academy
Missouri Football redshirt sophomore QB Maty Mauk will serve as a camp counselor at the Manning Passing Academy, the football camp operated by one of the most recognizable families in quarterbacking, from Thursday, July 10-Sunday, July 13 in Thibodaux, La.
Mauk will have the chance to work alongside and learn from Archie, Eli and Peyton Manning, and their elite academy coaching staff.
In his first season of collegiate action in 2013, Mauk made four starts in place of injured starting QB James Franklin, and made an instant impact for the Tigers, earning recognition to the SEC All-Freshman Team.
He played in 13 of Mizzou's 14 games during its outstanding 12-2 campaign, throwing for 1,071 yards with an impressive 11-to-2 TD-to-INT ratio. He also ran for 229 yards and one touchdown.
