New Year's Day Bowl Games
Connor Shaw had a hand in all five of South Carolina's touchdowns today as the eighth-ranked Gamecocks downed No. 19 Wisconsin 34-24 in the Capital One Bowl at Orlando.
Shaw's third touchdown pass of the afternoon gave South Carolina a 27-17 lead early in the fourth quarter, but Wisconsin immediately answered back with Kenzel Doe's 91-yard kickoff return for a TD.
Shaw capped the scoring with a one-yard touchdown run with 5:48 left to secure the Gamecocks' third straight 11-win season.
Shaw also caught a scoring pass from Bruce Ellington, who caught six passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns.
The Badgers fell to 9-4 despite rolling up 293 rushing yards on the SEC's second-best rushing defense.

Armstrong and Enunwa hooked up for a 99-yard TD that put the Cornhuskers ahead 24-12. The Bulldogs moved inside the 25-yard line seven times but settled for four field goal

The win was the ninth in 13 games for North Texas while UNLV dropped to 7-6.
Michigan Sate came from behind to defeat Stanford in the Rose Bowl 24 to 20.
Its the Spartins first win in the Rose Bowl in 26 years.
