Truman State mens basketball looking to stay undefeated in MIAA play

The Truman menâ??s basketball team returns to Pershing Arena this Saturday (Dec. 8) afternoon, looking to move to 2-0 in the MIAA when it hosts Missouri Southern at 3:00 pm.

The Bulldogs are coming off a 71-69 road win at Missouri Western on Wednesday night to open league action.

Saturday afternoon will be the only scheduled regular season meeting between the Bulldogs (3-3, 1-0 MIAA) and Lions (5-3, 0-0 MIAA) this year, as the teams are in different pods for conference scheduling purposes.

While Truman kicked off league play on Wednesday, Missouri Southern was the one idle MIAA team in the conference schedule.

However, like Truman, MSSU will be after its third straight victory having most recently downed Central Bible 69-39 on Dec. 4 in Joplin.
