The Truman Football team will begin spring practice on Tuesday and has unveiled its 2014 schedule.
The Bulldogs open the season on the road against Division I Drake (Iowa) University on Saturday 6 at 6:30 p.m.
The 10-game schedule features five home and five road games.
After opening with the Drake Bulldogs, Truman will host non-conference Langston (Okla.) for Family Night on September 13.
The Great Lakes Valley Conference slate begins the following week on September 20 at 6:30 p.m. against Missouri S&T.
Truman closes out September with a conference home game against Lincoln (Mo.) University at 7:00 p.m.
October will have two home games and one road.
The month starts near St. Louis when the Bulldogs square off against McKendree (Ill.) University on October 4.
The William Jewell Cardinals are the Homecoming opponent on October 11 at Stokes Stadium.
Fans should circle their calendar for October 18 when a rematch of the GLVC title game from last season is played out on the Stokes Stadium turf.
The defending league champion, Indianapolis will make their first trip to Kirksville after scoring in the final minutes to defeat the Bulldogs for the league championship last November.
The Bulldogs will travel to another GLVC newcomer but old foe on November 1 as they take on the Southwest Baptist (Mo.) Bearcats in Bolivar.
The Quincy (Ill.) Hawks are the Senior Day opponent on November 8 and Truman wraps-up the regular season looking to avenge their only other conference loss at Saint Joseph's (Ind.) College on November 15.
Spring practice will open on March 18 at Stokes Stadium and culminates with the annual Spring Game on April 12 at 1:00 p.m.
The team is planning events surrounding the Spring Game and more information will be provided as the date gets closer.
