Truman State softball's Christa Reisinger named D2 Midwest Player of the Year

Reisinger was named the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Midwest Region Player of the Year in a vote by the region's sports information directors.
Reisinger and Midwest Region Pitcher of the Year, Allison Lipovsky, of Grand Valley State were joined by 12 others on the first team while the second team consisted of 13 more student-athletes. This marks the third-straight year that Reisinger and Lipovsky have earned All-Midwest Region honors. All first-team honorees will now advance to the national ballot for All-America consideration and All-America Teams will be announced on Wednesday, May 23.
