Blackhawks win game 5 to take a 3-2 lead in Stanley Cup Final.
Coach Joel Quenneville's decision to reunite Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane now looks like the series-changing event of the 2013 Stanley Cup Final.
But the big questions are whether Toews will be able to play Game 6 and whether the Boston Bruins will have their best all-around player, Patrice Bergeron.
Both players were hurt in the Chicago Blackhawks' 3-1 win in Game 5.
Bergeron's injury was severe enough that he was taken the hospital in an ambulance.
There was no postgame update on his status and the Blackhawks said Toews had an upper-body injury.
Toews was hurt on a blow to the head by Johnny Boychuk with 8:09 left in the second period.
Toews was cutting across toward the goal when Boychuk decked him from behind.
Kane scored two more goals Saturday night to power the Blackhawks to a 3-1 victory that gives them a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.
The Blackhawks can wrap up the championship with a win in Game 6 Monday night in Boston.
Kane scored at 17:27 of the first period and at 5:13 of the second period, with Toews assisting on both tallies.
