Nelson, who was a national qualifier as a freshman in the Javelin, set a mark of 41.94 to place first in the event. She had a personal best height of 1.60 in the high jump for a silver finish and a personal best time of 14.92 and was third in the 100 meter hurdles. She was ninth in the 200 meter dash clocking at 27.58.
Brittni Campbell won the 100 meter dash in a PR time of 12.39 and Lisa Kucharski was first in the 400 meter hurdles at 1:03.53. Those two along with Nora Kueny and Taylor Dinyer placed second in the 4x100 meter relay with a season best time of 4:07.75.
The 4x800 relay team of Abby Palm, Katie Hirsch, Laura Western and Taylor Schultz won their event with a time of 9:55.57.
The other two first places on the womenâ??s side came in the throws. Rachel McCarroll won the Hammer with a mark of 44.71 and Dimonique McGruder took the Shot Put in 13.28.
Menâ??s champions came from Ryan Peterson in the 400 meter dash, Andrew Sheets in the 5000 meter run and Matt Wisniewski in the Hammer.
Peterson ran 48.47, about a half second from a provisional mark in the 400 meter dash while Sheets was two seconds clear of his pervious fastest time in the five kilometer at 15:38.18.
Wisniewski also recorded a personal best in the hammer with a toss of 50.89.
Zach Thomas was second in the 400 meter hurdles with a personal best time of 2:05.67 and Matthew Smith took the silver as well in the Discus.
The Bulldogs will compete next weekend at the Jim Duncan Invitational hosted by Drake (Iowa) University.
