Indian Hills volleyball coach Lyndsey Lyon has set the dates for the summer volleyball camp at IHCC.

The instructional camp will be held June 16-18 at the Tom Arnold Net Center on the Ottumwa campus.

There will be two separate sessions for the camp.

Athletes entering grades 4-6 will attend from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. each day and their cost is $35.

Those entering grades 7 and 8 will have their instruction from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and their cost is $45.

The camp will teach athletes all the basic fundamentals of volleyball, including passing, setting, hitting, blocking and serving.

The sessions will offer a solid foundation in skill development and motivation for the athletes who attend.

In addition to three days of instruction, all participants will receive a special camp t-shirt.

Opportunities for local and regional high school students to participate in men's soccer, women's soccer, and volleyball summer camps will be available from July 11-20 on the Truman State University campus.

Women's soccer head coach Mike Cannon will be hosting a three-day individual summer camp for all girls entering grades 9-12, beginning on July 11 and running until July 13. For $200 ($180 if the participant is commuting), a camp participant will participate in small-sided games, training with members of the Truman women's and men's coaching staffs (along with current and former players), as well as compete in both scrimmage and tournament competition.

A total of six sessions will occur during the event. Information is available by visiting the Truman women's soccer camp website (link).

Head volleyball coach Ben Briney will be running a three-day individual camp for all girls entering grades 8-12 inside Pershing Arena on July 14-16.

For $270 ($210 if the participant is commuting), players will get personalized instruction from Briney, assistant coach Megan Wargo-Kearney, and current players. Information is available by visiting the Truman volleyball camp website (link).

Men's soccer head coach Duke Cochran will be hosting a three-day individual summer camp for all boys entering grades 11 and 12, along with recent high school graduates.

For $200 ($180 if the participant is commuting), a camp participant will participate in small-sided games, training with members of the Truman men's and women's coaching staffs (along with current and former players), as well as compete in both scrimmage and tournament competition.

June 16-18, 2014 its the 4th Annual Indian Hills Warrior Volleyball Camp.


This camp will teach athletes all the basic fundamentals of volleyball: passing, setting, hitting, blocking, and serving.


The IHCC Volleyball Camp offers a solid foundation in skill development and motivation for your athletes!


The three-day camp will be held Monday, June 16 - Wednesday, June 18 at the Tom Arnold Net Center, Indian Hills Main Campus, Ottumwa.
