      Truman soccer teams sweep Wisconsin Parkside

      The Truman State soccer teams had a good day on Sunday, sweeping Wisconsin Parkside in a men and women's doubleheader.

      The women won 2-1 in overtime.

      Jessica Hanson scored the opener just before the half and Alexis Heffernan netted the winner in the extra session.

      The men rallied to win 2-1 after Ryan Yang opened the scoring in the 6th minute.

      The Bulldogs got two goals from Matt Langley with Chris Manley assisting on both.

      The women improved to 4-1-2 overall.

      The men's record is 4-2 on the year.
