Truman State baseball home Wednesday

Wednesday will see the team return home for a single, nine-inning game against Southwest Baptist University.

The teams were scheduled to play in Bolivar last week but schedule changes moved the game to Kirksville for Wednesday at 2 p.m.

The Bearcats are 14-8 on the season.

This weekend, Truman will open up Great Lakes Valley Conference action with a four-game series against rival Quincy on the road.

The Hawks are 10-8 on the year and were picked to win the GLVC West Division this season by league coaches. The two teams split their GLVC series last year in Kirksville.

Jason Priest enters the week leading the team in hitting with a .365 batting average and 17 RBIs while Bryan Clark is 2-2 with a 3.38 ERA
