Truman State volleyball wins 6th straight at Quincy

The Truman State volleyball team won their 6th straight match on Tuesday night at Quincy, Illinois.

The Bulldogs started fast, taking the first set 25-21 and won the second by a similar score 25-20.

The Hawks responded in the third edging Truman 25-23.

In the 4th the Bulldogs closed it out 25-17 to improve to 12-5 on the year and 6-1 in the GLVC conference.

Allie Brak led the way with 20 kills while Jessye Maurer and Abby Heise added 10.

Emilee Walters had 7 and Ali Patterson finished with 6.

On defense Abby Moser had 22 digs and Allie Brak added 15.

Meghan Zimmerman also totaled 8 digs in the victory.

Up next the Bulldogs head to Kansas City on Friday for a matchup with Rockhurst at 7 pm.
