Hometown: Cincinnati, Ohio
I have been quite the weather nerd for as long as I can remember, and I’m so excited this path has led me to the Heartland to pursue my dream of being a meteorologist!
I was born and raised in suburban Cincinnati, Ohio. After high school, I joined the United States Marine Corps. I was stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina and deployed overseas during 2011 and early 2012. It was an amazing adventure getting to see the world, as I visited countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. I was honorably discharged in 2013 and decided college was the next best thing for me.
I attended Ohio University beginning and 2013 and graduated in 2017 with a bachelor of science degree in Meteorology/Geography. I completed an internship at WLWT-TV in Cincinnati, where I developed a passion for being a broadcast meteorologist. I did my first live TV broadcast at Ohio University’s WOUB-TV. I knew from then on exactly what I wanted to do with my career!
My fiancée, Meghan, and I now live in Iowa and are excited to call the Heartland home! If you ever have any questions or just want to talk weather, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or connect with me on Facebook and Twitter!
