School: Temple University

Hometown: Pittsburgh, Pa.

Louis joined KTVO right after completing his B.A. in Journalism, with a concentration in International Communications, and Minor in Political Science from Temple University in Philadelphia.

During his time at Temple, Louis took advantage of many opportunities including studying abroad in London, England. While in London, Louis volunteered for the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Upon his return, he interned at WPVI-TV, 6abc, the number one news station in Philadelphia, followed by ABC News 20/20.

During his time interning at 20/20, he was able to work with top-tiered news professionals on a daily basis — those whom he has idolized since childhood including Diane Sawyer, David Muir and Elizabeth Vargas. This only increased his passion for storytelling.

Growing up in Pittsburgh, Louis rowed the Three Rivers, placing in many regattas across the northeast. He is a huge fan of the Steelers, and is eagerly awaiting a legendary seventh Super Bowl victory. He enjoys playing football himself.

Louis is excited to be a part of the KTVO family and serve northeast Missouri and southeast Iowa.

When not working, he loves to keep up with national news and stay active through working out in the gym.
