A weekend crash injured two southeast Iowa men.

The crash happened just before 4 a.m. on Sunday on 170th Street near Trenton, Iowa.

Trenton is northwest of Mt. Pleasant.

A Chevy truck driven by Maxallen Otto Graf, 18, of New London, struck a guardrail.

The truck flipped onto its rooftop and landed in the ditch.

Graf told Henry County Sheriff's deputies that he lost control after looking at his cell phone.

The subsequent investigation led deputies to determine that Graf was operating the truck under the influence of alcohol.

Graf was charged with O.W.I., possession under the legal age and failure to maintain control.

Both Graf and a passenger in the truck suffered minor injuries.
