Armed robber on loose after Moberly holdup

An armed robber who held up a northern Missouri convenience store overnight remains on the loose.

Moberly police say a black man with a gun went into the north Break Time convenience store on Highway 24 in Moberly just before 1:30 a.m. Friday.

Officers say he pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money.

After getting the cash, the unidentified man left the store and ran west.

Police are still trying to locate the robber. No further description is available at this time.
