AGENCY, Iowa — Wapello County emergency crews responded to a bomb threat made in Agency, Iowa, Thursday afternoon.
The threat was made to Area XV Multi-County Housing complex Thursday around 1 p.m.
County officials told KTVO the threat came through email.
Workers at the agency were evacuated while first responders examined the building.
An ambulance and paramedics were also at the scene in case anyone needed assistance.
Local officials say residents should contact 911 if they see or receive anything suspicious.
