Court records: Oskaloosa man watched women shower in dorm bathroom

Surveillance video of Tre'mone Nimmers shared on the Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers Facebook page helped authorities identify him as the suspect/Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers

An Oskaloosa man is accused of exposing himself twice in a women's dorm at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.

Tre'Mone Nimmers, 20, was arrested Wednesday at his Oskaloosa home in connection with the Jan. 13, 2019 and Jan. 31, 2019 incidents.

According to online court records, Nimmers was naked from the waist down when he walked into the women's bathroom of Noehren Hall and tried to watch a female student shower.

Police say a similar incident was reported a week later, with a different victim in the same shower stall.

Nimmers was not a UNI student at the time of either incident.

Surveillance footage of Nimmers shared on the Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers Facebook page helped authorities identify him as the suspect.

He's charged with Trespassing, two counts of Invasion of Privacy and two counts of Indecent Exposure.

Oskaloosa Police Chief Benjamin Boeke tells KTVO Nimmers was transferred from the Mahaska County Jail to the Black Hawk County Jail, where he posted bond, and was released from custody earlier this week. He's scheduled to appear in a Black Hawk County courtroom for his preliminary hearing Feb. 27, 2019.
