Driver hurt in icy road rollover

The driver was taken by private vehicle to Northeast Regional Health Center in Kirksville with minor injuries.

One man was hurt in a crash Tuesday when his truck slid off an icy road.

It happened at 6:20 a.m. in Knox County, one mile west of Hurdland.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that Bo Bell, 24, of Kirksville was driving a Toyota Tacoma when it slid off the side of the ice-covered road, struck a ditch, and overturned.

The driver was taken by private vehicle to Northeast Regional Health Center in Kirksville with minor injuries.

His truck was totaled.

The crash report states that Bell was wearing a seat belt.
