Hometown Christmas parade makes its way to Bloomfield
BLOOMFIELD, Iowa —
Christmas is right around the corner, and Bloomfield Main Street has a full schedule planned for this weekend's holiday celebration.
The theme for the event this weekend is Hometown Christmas, and the events after are to get you in the holiday spirit with events like an ugly sweater contest, Christmas movies, and a community choir concert. Tammy Roberts, Executive Director of Bloomfield Main Street gave KTVO some insight on what to expect for the parade on Friday.
This is our first year, so we’re anxious to see. We’re excited. We have 27 float entries, which we didn’t know what to expect being the first year. We feel that is a pretty good number. It’ll be fun to see what everyone brings.
