Hundreds come out to participate for the 14th annual "Make A Blanket Day"

    “Make A Blanket Day” is hosted by Project Linus named after the Peanuts character Linus.

    The event is held once a year at the Moose Lodge in Kirksville.

    People from all over the Heartland came to donate or make blankets.

    The event lasted from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday with over 350 blankets donated.

    The blankets made will go out to children locally that are in need.
